Nuheara has been invited to present at a leading Wearables Conference in San Francisco on July 9-10, 2015. The Wearable Technologies Conference USA (https://www.wearable-technologies.com/events/wearable-technologies-conference-2015-usa) is the 16th Wearable Technologies Conference and is designed to bring together leaders in the wearables eco-system from around the world.

Nuheara Co-founder and Director David Cannington, will be speaking on “The Ear a Good Idea” and will address the ongoing challenge for wearables companies today – solving a real consumer problem. According to Mr Cannington “There is incredible excitement about the future of wearables, but we advocate that wearables won’t realize their full potential unless they solve a real consumer problem. This is what drives our business focus at Nuheara.”

In conjunction with its partner Wearable World (www.wearableworld.co) in San Francisco, Nuheara is building a leadership presence in the wearables industry in the USA. This is the second leading Wearables Conference in the last two months where Nuheara has been invited to speak on the future of Audio Wearables (Hearables).

Hearables is one of the new frontiers for the Wearables industry as devices move from the wrist to other parts of the body, into clothing and even into the body. Mr Cannington said, “Hearables is a relatively new term, but in a few years consumers will be adopting innovative new Hearable devices that will change the way they hear the world. It’s an exciting time for this segment of the Wearables market.”

Despite the fact that International Data Corporation forecasts Worldwide Wearable device shipments to grow by 173.3% in 2015 with a 42.6% Compound Annual Growth Rate over the next five-year period, the Wearables industry is still a nascent industry in Australia. Notably, Nuheara is the only Australian wearables company to be invited to speak at this year’s Wearable Technologies conference in San Francisco.

According to Mr Cannington “Our goal is build a very successful Wearables company that was born in Australia but has a strong global presence and brand.”
