Perth WA, Australia, April 6th, 2016<\/strong> \u2013 Nuheara (ASX Code: NUH), an innovative audio wearables company co-located in Perth, Australia and San Francisco, USA, announced today it launched a pre-order campaign<\/a> for its IQbuds\u2122 wireless earbuds on the Indiegogo platform.<\/p>\n

Nuheara is developing intelligent wireless earbuds that aim to allow users to hear what they want to hear in the world around them and in their digital world. Nuheara <\/a>describes IQbuds\u2122 as a cross between an Assisted Listening device, Noise Cancelling headset and a Bluetooth earpiece in two totally wireless earbuds.<\/p>\n

Nuheara raised A$3.5M in a public offering on the Australia Stock Exchange on March 2nd this year and had been trading at well above its listing price since then.<\/p>\n

According to Justin Miller, CEO Nuheara, \u201cWe were really pleased with the response from the market to the Nuheara public offering last month. Nuheara is the only consumer Wearables company listed on the ASX, and this pre-order campaign represents the execution of the first stage go-to-market with IQbuds\u2122.\u201d<\/p>\n

IQbuds\u2122 is the first product for Nuheara and, according to Miller, hundreds of consumers have responded very positively to the working wearable prototypes that they have been testing over the last two months in Australia and USA.<\/p>\n

The company claims it has a community of over 22,000 people who have signed up at its website. According to David Cannington, Co-founder who is based in San Francisco, \u201cThis pre-order campaign is really designed to reward our early supporters with early bird discounts and Indiegogo is a great platform on which to continue to build our growing community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nuheara has developed a contractual Research and Development relationship with Curtin University, where Nuheara funds post-doctoral researchers at the University who specialize in digital signal processing and augmented hearing.<\/p>\n

While all the technology development takes place in Perth, Australia, Nuheara was born global and has a partnership with one of the worlds leading Wearables incubators \u2013 Wearable World IoT Labs in San Francisco, CA. \u201cIt’s a huge advantage for Nuheara to have a base in the heart of the weareables eco-system in Silicon Valley,\u201d said Cannington. \u201cWe are creating a go-to-market channel for all the great technology being developed by our team in Perth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though new to Indiegogo, wireless earbuds (IQbuds\u2122) by Nuheara have been in the works for over 18 months. the company plan to commence shipping to its early supporters in December 2016.<\/p>\n
