IQbuds No Barriers Squaw

Last weekend members of the Nuheara team traveled to Squaw Creek, Lake Tahoe in the beautiful California Sierras to participate in the No Barriers Summit. http://www.nobarriersusa.org/summit/

The No Barriers Summit was all about unleashing your potential. According to Executive Director David Shuma by “participating this weekend you’re joining a global community of individuals who believe that what’s in us is stronger that’s what in our way. A community that understands that despite the barriers we face, we all crave purpose and meaning in our lives”

Members of the Nuheara team were inspired by this community of unique individuals who in their own ways face significant personal challenges and have taken it upon themselves to break through those barriers.

We were uplifted by presentations from people like Erik Weihenmayer, the first and only blind man to climb Mt Everest, Zach Anner, award winning show host, speaker and comedian, Sam Morris, founder of Zen Warrior training who overcame incredible obstacles after a car accident left him as a paraplegic and so many other truly inspiring speakers.

Nuheara shared the life changing experience of IQbuds™ with some amazing people including Vets who are struggling with hearing loss and PTSD as well as other incredible people struggling with neurological challenges such as Auditory Processing Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder and Dyslexia.

IQbuds™ offered a new alternative to dealing with their challenges by giving them the control of their audio world that they didn’t know existed before they experienced IQbuds™. Managing how they deal with overwhelming audio stimuli is a big problem for people with concentration disorders and IQbuds™ showed how they could take back control of their audio world by focusing on what they want to hear.

Nuheara joined an innovative group of technology companies who have developed products and services that enable people with a wide range of disabilities to thrive and overcome their obstacles.

According to Co-founder David Cannington who attended the Summit:

“The No Barriers Summit is exactly the kind of event that Nuheara is proud to support. Its inspiring for members of our team to be around an incredible group of people and watch them experience how IQbuds™ can improve their quality of life”

Nuheara was founded with a mission to improve the quality of life of its customers and IQbuds™ were designed to enable people who struggle to hear what they want to hear in the world around them take back control.

Thanks to No Barriers Summit for an inspiring few days in the Sierra’s.
