I’m Dave Waller I have a problem called otosclerosis in my two ears. I’ve had one of them fixed and that’s given me a big imbalance in my perception, in my hearing. It’s been a really awful thing now for about 15 years. I’ve been looking for a long, long time for some headphones.

In fact, I’ve bought many, many, many headphones. Probably spent thousands of dollars trying to find some headphones that would allow me to really enjoy music and also hear the rest of the world better than I hear it with my lopsided hearing. And when I found the Boost, it was like a miracle for me. And the certified audio tests that you go through that really does a frequency profile of both ears and then compensates for that and really makes it clear.

Back at home, this has helped my family life because this hearing problem has caused me to turn the TV up really loud, and my whole family complained about it. When I got the Boost, I could put them on and I could turn the world volume all the way up so would they would be really sensitive, and then I could listen to the TV really quiet and not bother anyone else in my house, and it has created some bliss.

So one of the things I really love to do with my Boost is ride my electric scooter, and the Boost make it twice as fun because I can listen to tunes I love while I’m riding. I can hear my outside environment, so if there’s anybody around or a car honks or something I know about it. And the music is balanced in stereo and awesome and perfect. I just have the greatest time. I love it.

One thing I really enjoy using the Boost for is in the morning, it’s pretty quiet in the house, and I want to be able to hear what’s going on. I get up early, and I can go into the kitchen there and sit down in front of the computer with the printer there, and it’s very quiet morning, put my earbuds in. And I can hear everything really well and not have to disturb the rest of the people in the house.

I love the Boost because literally, that’s how I found out my husband really needed to get his hearing fixed. Whenever he wears it, he can hear me really well, and he doesn’t have to have the TV on so loud. It makes a very big difference when he’s not wearing it. When he’s mad at me, I think he turns it off.
